Cookies policy
This page explains how automate-advanced.digital uses cookies. For broader privacy practices see our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They can be essential for basic functions or optional for understanding how pages are used.
Types we use
Essential: remember your cookie consent choice so the banner does not reappear every visit. These do not track marketing behaviour.
Analytics (optional): help us see which Field notes and lesson pages are read most often. They load only if you Accept on the banner.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| automate_advanced_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject preference for the cookie banner | 1 year (localStorage) | Automate Advanced |
| _aa_analytics | Optional aggregate page-view counts for Field notes and lessons | 6 months | Automate Advanced (first-party) |
Managing cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Rejecting does not block lesson pages, forms, or navigation. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the stored preference and shows the banner again.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may result in network requests to Google when pages load. We do not embed third-party advertising cookies.
Impact of disabling
Disabling essential storage may cause the consent banner to appear on every visit. Disabling analytics only means we receive less information about which guides are useful — site features still work.
